Blackjack Definitions
Hit - To take another card.
Stand - To decline taking another card.
Double Down - To double your initial bet when requesting another card.
Poker Definitions
Royal Flush - Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten of the same suit.
Straight Flush - 5 cards of the same suit in consecutive rank order.
Four of a Kind - 4 cards of the same rank.
Full House - 3 cards of one rank, and 2 cards of another rank.
Flush - 5 cards of the same suit in any rank order.
Straight - 5 cards of any suit in consecutive rank order.
Three of a Kind - 3 cards of the same rank.
Two Pair - 2 cards of one rank, and 2 cards of another rank.
One Pair - 2 cards of the same rank.
High Card - The highest card qualifies if no other hand is made.
All In - To bet all of your chips on a hand.
Call - To match a bet made by another player during a hand.
Check - To not put any of your chips into the pot. Check instead of bet.
Fold - To not continue or put any more money into the pot.
Raise - To increase the bet made by another player in the hand.
General Terminology
Betting Limits - The maximum and minimum bet you’re allowed to place.
Dealer - The person who deals the cards in any casino card game.
Session - The time you have spent playing games in a casino.
